Abstract

Description

It is doubtful if they can get a [chance] to build a dam above the present one even if it was practical to do so. -- If we could have had time to have built a dam at our [privilege] last fall and put in a wheel it would have secured it. I was fearful we should not have time and did not wish to buy into a fight. -- I can circumvent their wishes legislature. We shall be all right for this summer as they cannot present another petition until next Jan before that time we can have a wheel running I have said nothing to them about about this and wish to keep as still as possible. -- Yours Truly -- John Keith --
