Abstract

Description

Nov. 25, 5 [1885] -- J. Crane Jr. & Bro. -- Gentlemen, -- I send you to day a set of magnets, which please exchange, and return those you now have and oblige. -- I should judge by the appearance of those you last returned that the stack was over running too deep in the trough. -- By tipping it a little to give it more fall this can be avoided. -- The attractive part of a magnet is only near the ends or poles. -- Yours Truly -- C.M. Burnett --
